I went here because I had seen good reviews of the place in local social media food groups. When I got seated I asked the waitress if they had Mountain Dew, she said yes, then brings me what looked like a Mountain Dew but I couldn’t really tell because it a seemed watery and flat. I ordered a cheeseburger and a basket of fries, which quickly arrived. The burger was really unimpressive, and the fries were not real great either, I don’t get the hype the place has in local burger groups. Then, partway through the meal I had drank most of my soda and the waitress comes over and asked if I wanted more Mellow Yellow, I guess that’s why my Mountain Dew tasted a little peculiar, it wasn’t Mountain Dew at all, then she explained that their carbonation was out, which explained why the soda seemed flat and watery.

A nice little tavern in the middle of a big city. This location reminds you of a good old tavern in the middle of nowhere, Midwest USA. Good service. Good environment. A good selection of beers, and good curds. The taste of the actual burger leaves more to be desired as well as the bacon finish, but kudos for the spicy ketchup. A nice touch. The virtual pay only accepted Apple Pay at the time of our checkout and we had no option to manually add our preferred card payment. Would stop by again.

This neighborhood beer bar (no hard liquor served) feels like being in small town WI. I loved it. We had fun chatting with the friendly bartender, Kristin, and some other patrons. It seemed like a lot of the regulars knew each other. We didn’t eat here, but the burgers looked tasty. I’d like to come back to try one sometime and play some bingo. This cozy joint is “divey” in the best way possible! 10/10

Both myself and friend returned yesterday around lunch hour because of past dining experiences of which we were impressed. Friend was wondering if burger buns changed, and both of us noticed immediately buns were cold to the touch. Burgers yesterday were WAY too bready and the patty portion size was a great disappointment compared to past visits. Probably won’t return anytime soon: sorry Sandy’s but we felt pretty ripped off.

We have always loved coming to Sandy’s for the burgers but yesterday when we went I immediately noticed the buns were different, too bready. Not the squishy ones in the past that were more softer and not so heavy. I asked the server about it and she said they went back to the original buns they had used in the past. Just was not the same burger with the new “old” bun.

First visit. Came with my brother who lamented that it wasn’t as good as previous visits. The server knew nothing of the tap selection so I had to go look. The burger tasted great but the bun was low grade. The fries were very good. The value was good. The neighborhood is pretty cool. The atmosphere was pretty nice. Kinda old neighborhood bar feel. Parking was good. Not sure if my visit warrants coming back.

It was slow when we went there, but I got a regular cheeseburger (double) with a side of tater tots. It was so simple that it was delicious. You can’t beat a classic burger. It was addicting. Haha. You have condiments on the side already on the table (Salt pepper shaker, ketchup, spicy ketchup).

Great burger and fries! We split each burger (Burger of the Month & the Olive Burger – both yummy!) and they brought each half in its own basket! Fries were nice and crispy. Server Leah was great!

We visit Sandy’s periodically when we want a great burger, a cold beer and a quiet place to just visit with friends. It has never disappeared us. Service us always excellent and friendly and the food is top shelf. They even have fresh mini-donuts for desert

Really good burger joint. The food was awesome and the atmosphere matched. A bit pricey for a burger joint when each pint of light beer was $4.50+ but it was worth it. The service was personable yet not obtrusive. I enjoyed my lunch and will return.
