Placed an order for pick up. I’ve never eaten here before. Not exactly the first impression I was expecting. Couldn’t eat the chicken. It was so dry that it was transparent. It was dark meat chicken… how? Oh the potstickers… Seemed undercooked. I couldn’t eat more than one and wouldn’t share them with my mother. Not ordering from this location again. Probably, not this company again.

Chicken was way overcooked. Those green peas hard as a rock, and the portions of both rice and chicken, is for a 12year old. Not a grown man. I had to wait 20minutes for dried out food. I could see what was going on, and thus I asked him, if he would cook the ahi tuna instead of raw and he said he couldn’t. What a big waste of money. I still starving. So instead of asking for my money back, I will let everyone know of my experience

I ordered the spring rolls and a tuna poke bowl. When I went to pick up my spring roll it broke apart and thank God it did because it revealed a huge dead fly wrapped up on the shrimp! So disgusting I couldn’t eat the rest of any of meal after that!

Not as fresh as they used to be. Usually only get the Spring Rolls from here since I don’t have a large appetite. Apparently something has changed because the spring rolls I got today appeared to be frozen from a previous day. So much so that the avocado was stiff and brown on the edge of turning into goo. Really disappointed and will not be going here again.

****The updated/edited part***** —-> Got my meal, written on my sushi boxes is “Gluten Allergy : ) ” with a smiley face. The message was obviously passed on from lady who took my call (even though she rushed and was slightly rude but we are only human) and the food was amazing as always. Tokyo Joe’s is easily the best option for me when it comes to eating out gluten free, safely with really affordable, pretty healthy (if you choose to be), and always delicious.
