Ive been coming here for years now but something changed in January. While food is still very good something is off. The pepperoni rolls have been inconsistent and lacking pepperoni so it’s been like eating a breadstick. The pizzas have been light on the sauce and heavy on the cheese so I’ve been asking for light cheese and still been getting pizzas heavy with cheese. I’ve considered this place the best pizza around for years and drive 6hrs round trip to eat here when not traveling in area. Ive brought 40ish people here over the years and they agreed on the quality of the food but I’ve now taken this place off my list of favorites. I will still stop from time to time on my travels down 77 but will no longer recommend this as the best pizza I’ve eaten.

I love their Sicilian pizza! The pepperoni is sometimes a bit too spicy for me but still good. The sausage is shredded to perfection and the cheese is so gooey when hot. The owner sources the food from the best and his mozzarella is the BOMB!

I might be a little biased considering Parkersburg is my hometown but… Pizza Place has the best pizza in the world! I no longer live in Parkersburg but you best believe any time I’m there I gotta stop in for a slice of pizza, a garlic or pepperoni roll and of course, you can’t forget the cookies!

Where do you start? The food is really good. The portioning size for the price is a joke. $12 a sub and you get $3 worth of meat and $10 worth of always hard on the bottom or burnt bun. Brought it to the attention of the rude young lady that always deals with the public and seemed to not car. Also to the attention of the owner/ son of the owner and he asked with a smile, “what was wrong, was it burnt”? No compensation or offered discount on next meal. Seems petty but when 4 people spend almost $60 on subs and sodas it’s absolutely an insault. Never go back again.
