Perfect view of the bay … Whether you’re looking for or romantic dinner or a family dinner. The food was really fantastic! We had the filet and seared snapper with the sashimi appetizer and brownie sundae dessert! All were truly delicious. The best part of the evening was our server Johnny! He was more than helpful with the menu he knew every item and could explain it all and right make recommendations! There are even vegan options on the menu. I would definitely come back here… Resort dinner… But NOT resort prices.

Aside from the beyond-amazing view and the elegance of the Princeton Resort, the cuisine offered on the Makana Terrace is top notch featuring some of the best seafood and steak to be found cooked perfectly and very well presented. The ambience, especially at sunset on a good weather day is glorious. This is a great spot for romance.

We stopped in for a mid-week brunch. The view is outstanding and made the meal worth it overall, however the buffet is overpriced ($41 each) and only slightly better than an average hotel breakfast buffet. Additionally, there were a lot of very aggressive birds that made the meal much less enjoyable. The waitstaff and greeters were very friendly and the service was exemplary.

Absolutely perfect setting to watch the sun set and disappear behind the green mountains of Kaua‘i. The food was amazing, we had three courses and were not disappointed. Secret tip: the cheesecake with coconut lime sorbet for dessert is incredible.

View was amazing obviously, the staff was nice and did a good job. The food is definitely not worth the price tag. I’ve hade cheaper steak that was much tastier. All in all good vibes even if it’s raining.

The view and location is very nice at this restaurant, I was a little upset where they sat us though, we made our reservations weeks in advance and requested sunset view and we got a table very far back compared to about a half a dozen better tables that were never occupied. The dinner was well…. how do I not be to insulting…. the pork chop was dry as a fart, similar consistency to a bouncy ball. The fish we got was mediocre at best. Drinks were almost $20 each and the drink we ordered was gross and we didn’t even finish it…. I was very disappointed to say the least. I’ve been to the steak house next door and it was much better, go there! the free cookies I was giving for my b day gift are the only reason I’m leaving such a high review, they were delicious!

The atmosphere is unbeatable. To be able to sit on the terrace and watch the sunset while sipping champagne is indescribable! Unfortunately my dinner of grilled Mahi Mahi didn’t come as described and our waitress was inattentive and short, to say the least. The manager tried to set things right but don’t think we’d go back.

Food here is poor. Taste like very cheap american low class street restaurant. Doesnt have any presentation. The quality is very lacking. Service was good as the staff is very friendly. Views are awesome, but if you are staying at the hotel is the same view. Dont come here for food, as it is probably the worst we had on our entire hawaii trip. It was shocking on how lacking of flavor and it didnt have any love. It tasted like Airplane food!! Like generic mass produced food.
