I got the meatloaf special with Creole sauce. Creole sauce really just meant brown gravy. The sides were great. Meat wasn’t seasoned enough but typical southern diner food style menu. Cool scenery inside bigger than you thought it would be.

Bluebonnet Grill prepandemic was top notch. Busy busy place. Long lines waiting to get in. Food constantly cooking.Except for CFS which had been voted best in city. Pandemic took it’s toll. One sees it in food, prep. Food was sufficient and very affordable. Service is still outstanding. Din not same. Empty tables. Unheard of. I had bisquits n gravy and sausage. Two large patties no less for extra buck$. Very good but its not the same. Will I return. Absolutely. I like this place access easy by bus and get your $ worth. We need to support it.
