On the road to visit family during our crystal mining vacation we stop first at Hot Springs and were looking for a burger joint so we Googled and found Five Star Burgers. For our family, traveling equals NEW FOOD EXPERIENCES and we were so happy with this place!! I ordered a classic burger with all the fixings and extra pickles and an unsweetened tea, the boys both got Classic Burgers with Cheese, one with everything but onions, and one with lettuce, pickles, onions and A1 sauce. Our food came at the time expected for the quality. Grade A cooking by the young lady who was also the cashier. The buns were fresh, soft and toasted on the grill, the hamburgers were 100% beef, fresh pressed and grilled to perfection. The toppings were fresh, and tomatoes had flavor! Heirloom tomatoes! The condiments were carefully layered to cover the entire bun surface without oversaturating and mayo done in pencil thin squiggle loops all around the bun to the very edges! After an 8 hr drive this was refreshing and completely satisfying. Will absolutely come again!

Every time I come in I order a double of their double burger! It’s amazing and I eat every bite every time. Although some the workers look at me funny when they hear my order lol. Definitely recommend this place highly! And definitely recommend anyone to try the double double burger!!!!!

Two women were attending me and my family. One of the women behind the counter had brought their infant along, which I found very odd. I had ordered a hot dog and fries and I was given a sad sausage with bread. A. Loaf. Of. Bread. No bun. I would have chosen a different order if she had simply told me there weren’t any more buns. I returned to the counter with the “hot dog” and asked if there were any buns. They shamelessly replied “no, we’re out.” After I took my seat again, the woman asked if I wanted something else. I ordered a grilled cheese, but didn’t have to pay for it.

Concerned Customer
I didn’t get a chance to eat because the service was horrible. My family and I took a trip to Hot Springs and we visited the mall. We saw this place and decided to try it. Upon entering, the two workers kept eyeballing each other. The guy did a head gesture to the girl worker and she coughed in her hands and looked at us and then back at the guy worker and they both smiled/ almost chuckling. Now at any time did she walk back to wash her hands or sanitize. I was shocked!! Horrible workers. 7/22/15

What a joke!!! The 1 lady who was there was rude wouldn’t even acknowledge or wait on us there was a whole 1 guy there eating and she was doing nothing to look like she was busy really sad like waiting for us to just walk off so thats exactly what we did ..WILL SPREAD THE WORD!! Must be reviews from the owner cause otherwise we watched others walk in she never waited on them just stared like she was a ignorant incompetent worker great job

Took over an hour to get our food, when we were told it’d be ready in 10-15 mins. Not the workers fault. He was the only one working. Owner needs to be there to help if he can’t afford more workers.
