Our quest for greatness is supported by our community. We source products for our cuisine and cocktails from local farms, our beers and wines are exclusively Californian and we serve a large portfolio of California spirits, especially those distilled in San Diego County.

Let me tell you my spicy margarita was BOMB! So good! Not to mention their strawberry salad was AH-MAZING! I asked for the recipe. For a bar & grill I was impressed by the food. Not your typical bar food. Last but not least I got the roast grilled cheese sandwich and soup, chefs kiss. The whole combo was so yummy. Good service as well. Will definitely be coming back!

Love that this place is so close to home! The faces may change, they tweak the menu now and then, but they are always welcoming and friendly and the food is good. Not being overly adventurous diners, we usually stick to the Mission Burger and Grilled Chicken Sandwich, plus some cold beer. Bonus: happy hour brings the draft beer to $5, which is a great deal these days!

A large group of us have frequented the Mission pretty regularly since it opened. For one, it’s the only place open late that has food. One thing that I miss that it had at the start was more gluten free options. I was always able to find something to eat. Now I need to modify everything or I just don’t eat. They don’t even show any options on their menu. It would be great if they brought some of those options back again….just 2 or three. The staff is always welcoming and it’s a nice atmosphere day or night. I also like that I can bring my pup and she can chill there with some water.

This place is AMAZING! Reasonable prices, great atmosphere, personable service and delicious food! We had the fried chicken sandwich and the short rib grilled cheese and tomato soup. The chicken was perfectly crispy and moist. The flavors were balanced so well and it had the perfect amount of spice giving it flavor while not burning your mouth. The short rib on the grilled cheese was cooked perfectly and paired so well with the tomato soup! Don’t get me wrong, that grilled cheese was delicious but I think it could be taken to the next level by adding another flavor element such as a hint of roasted chiles or something. That being said, I’d still come back for either entree and be completely satisfied! The fries were flakey and crispy. So good! We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Best Whiskey bar in North County! Their cocktails are amazing as well. Breakfast on Sundays during football season is not to be missed. Never been disappointed. Definitely one of my favorite places in Oceanside.

Really impressed with the Mission Ave Bar and Grill! We stopped here for lunch on a Sunday and it wasn’t too busy. The staff is very friendly, we were sat quickly and had drinks almost right away. BUT the food.. so amazing! We ordered the burger and the Asian salad and both were so delicious. We were both blown away. The location is great, just towards the edge of the downtown area but still only a 5-10 min walk from the pier. Looking forward to stopping here again when I’m in town.
