This place was such an amazing find in Okeechobee. Our first time visit and it definitely will not be our last. We got the fried chicken, fresh and very juicy. Fried okra. Collard greens, Mac and cheese with yellow rice. The iced tea was very good. Good size portions. Had to get to go boxes. The waitress was very sweet and attentive. The cook came out to deliver another gentleman’s drink refill and saw him praying over his food and he waited until the man was done. To me that says a lot. Very respectful. If you are looking for some delicious southern home cooking this is definitely the place. Thank you for making this a very pleasurable visit.

Had the pleasure of being greeted by her daughter and granddaughter. Wonderful waitress greeted us with a smile. Homemade food was delish! Had fried chicken okra collard greens cabbage rice and cornbread. All amazing!!! We love to support small places and so glad we found this place just passing through!

First time trying this restaurant and my wife and I were just blown away by the delicious and hearty food we received. I had the fried pork chop dinner and she had the shrimp basket. Everything, and I mean everything was delicious! The collard greens and macaroni and cheese were especially good. The pork chops were the best I’ve ever had, period. My wife is not a big eater so I wasn’t surprised that she couldn’t finish her dinner. But I’m a big guy who knows how to eat and I couldn’t finish mine either. Awesome dinner, we’ll definitely be going back. If you like good cooking and value for your money, I cannot recommend this place enough.

The collard greens were good, but the smothered chicken was just fried chicken with gravy. The corn bread was too sweet. The key lime cake was delicious. I found the cost for this mediocre meal overly priced.

Went here Friday 4/16/2021 first time here. It started off not good because of the menu but we worked passed it and it was definitely worth it. The food was amazing. I can’t wait to go back and try something else. If you haven’t been here I think you should stop in and try them you won’t be disappointed.
