Food tasted flavorless. I’m not getting curry taste at all. Rice & pea tasted mushy & was watered down. No flavor on the chicken & rice. The jerk sandwich looked nothing like the picture I saw online. Mine was not fried to a golden brown. It was burnt & seemed like it was cooked in overused oil. I’m disappointed because of the 4.6 stars swayed me. I couldn’t finish it. Unfortunately this didn’t taste Caribbean/Jamaica. It tasted like food if you didn’t follow instructions.

Miss Vi’s Cookup was parked outside of Double Branch Brewery in The Grove, Wesley Chapel on Saturday night. My wife and I had the chicken curry and a beef empanada. Both were delicious. The food was flavorful, the serving temperature was hot, it was all so good. The brewery was great too. Don’t miss out on Miss Vi’s.

About a month ago a friend of mine was in the area of Miss Vi’s & saw the adorable looking Food Truck so they pulled in to try the food. Being a thoughtful friend they brought me a Wonderful, Delicious Surprise from Miss Vi’s. I had the Jerk Chicken Meal, I cannot find enough Culinary Correct words to tell you JUST how Fabulous my meal was. Every bite was Taste of Heaven (if Heaven has a Taste.) My friend also shared their Chicken Tacos with me, Oh My Goodness ALL of the food was SO Fresh & Scrumptious. My friend having business dealings in that area has made a special stop there every time to bring me back a True Taste of the Caribbean. PS. My friend tells me that the people working there are most kind, gracious & APPRECIATE you the Customer!! SO, I say Spend your money where they Care about you & what they sell.

So I have not had much, if really any Caribbean food, but this was absolutely amazing. I’ve been by twice and I’ve enjoyed both times getting food here. It is a pop up, normally they are a food truck that travels, but this is a pop up location for the time being, so make sure to check them out on Facebook also.

I had visited Miss Vi’s cook up last weekend (October 26th) and I loved the jerk chicken! They had excellent customer service, great prices for the quality of food and the sause they had was superb! Definately will go to again and strongly recommend to anyone wanting to try Caribbean food!!!
