Our experience at Mumbai Rasoi was excellent. We have struggled to find many restaurants worth going to in the Westerly area, but this one definitely makes the list. The staff is friendly, helpful, and they know their food. We let them make recommendations for us and every item was wonderful. We especially loved the butter chicken. We noticed the entrees we had were different than those other people raved about in their reviews, so we plan on going back to try the rest of the menu. Please try this place: you won’t be disappointed and you’ll help keep a good restaurant alive in Westerly.

Stopped in today with a friend. I have not been an Indian food fan in the past but this place changed my mind. The food was delicious and the staff was wonderful. I ordered the Gobi and I believe the main dish I ordered was Adrak’s Chicken. It was so good. Since we were the only customers we had a chance to talk to the staff. It impressed me that they wanted to know what we liked and if there was anything we didn’t like or thought they might change. They told us that they wanted the input so they could improve. I will be back and will tell my friends and family about them.

Wow! This is the best Indian food I have eaten here in the States or abroad! Service is friendly as well as impeccable. Our server Leroy was so helpful in explaining items on the menu and we loved everything we ate from appetizers to our meals. Give this place a try, I promise you won’t regret it. Surprisingly delicious! I knew it was new just having bought out the previous Indian Restaurant but I had no idea how delicious it would be! We had chicken marsala and it was spectacular. Such a good flavor in the sauce and two bowls of rice. So yummy. Rhupesh, one of the owners, was very nice and gave us loads of things to try. Definitely recommend. This place is a hidden treasure!

I judge an Indian restaurant by it’s korma and Mumbai Rasoi’s korma rates low on my list. There were no nuts in it or raisons, which all of the other Indian restaurants that I have eaten in over the past 35 years always has. The flavor of the korma was not outstanding as with other kormas. I ordered a side of the red, onion relish and was told that they didn’t have any. This was on a Saturday evening where I would think that they would strive to have everything that was on the menu. I will stick with Rasa in E. Greenwich and A Taste of India in Mystic, Ct.
