STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I used to love this place but now I think I will never go back to any of the locations. Ordered online at Windsor location and went to pickup my food only to be told they are under new ownership and “my order” got re-routed to the New Britain location which is like 30-40 min away from me. Even though my confirmation text & email says pickup from Windsor they told me there was nothing they can do and that I needed to speak with New Britain. Ok so me and another customer who was dealing with same issue kept trying to call New Britain and noone answers the phone. I then proceed to speak with management/ownership and finally they offered to make the meal that I ordered at no charge only to see that nothing that I ordered was available. Wasted my whole lunch hour with no food and Now I am now in process of trying to dispute the charge on my CC which they said I need to wait 5-7 days to then call again. Very disappointed especially since this was one of my favorite places to eat food.

this place used to be SO GOOD. fresh, hot food that was delicious. went friday for lunch. the arroz con gandules was dry, bland, and just tasted gross. the chicken tasted old, the tres leche cake was dry. the pork bites were over cooked. apparently no rewards system even though i just got a text for rewards at the end of may? weird. service was rude and felt rushed. not sure what happened but not worth it anymore. also – paid almost $50 for food there which is INSANE. spend your $$ elsewhere.

I usually do not put reviews in , but me being a chef for many years I had to. I must say that the mofongo was a bit dry and the price is wat way too Much for the bowl it’s just too small of a portion for the price. And second I ordered a alcapuria and I got a small ball of what looked like a bit bigger than a golf ball size , and the Maza inside was not cooked throughly. Honestly I was expecting a bit more from this place…

Love the food enough to occasionally travel from out of town for takeout… Unfortunately the number for this location is out of service & the hours are inaccurate (on google profile & website) so it’s impossible to know if they’re open! Never had a negative experience inside, just trouble getting inside…

I saw ads online of this place and was so excited to try it. I was so disappointed. walked in with my family of 4 ready to spend a lot of money. However, what a disappointment. As I tried to order food some lady told me in a rude way “we don’t have this, we don’t have that” “the mofongo will take 30 minutes” Very rude a chubby spanish older lady. So I give one star for the service and how I was treated. I’m hispanic and usually I’m always greeted with kindness by people who share the same ethnicity as me. I was so disappointed. A good thing that came out of it was the chinese store next door was delicious. I walked next door fete the lady gave me negative energy. So I guess thank you for being rude because I found a good chinese restaurant.
