The food here is DELICIOUS! I had the special which was slow cooked pork tenderloins and omg was it good! My boyfriend had the Sloppy Steven. Adam was our server and he was great!!! The owners are very kind. I highly recommend stopping by. I think this will be a regular place for us now.

Stopped in here for lunch, had the chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes and green beans with bacon. It was a very big portion for a very competitive price. The atmosphere and the restaurant were very clean and the service has some of the best service I have had in 30 years, you don’t find that very often anymore but you will find it here. Definitely worth your time and your money make sure you support this local establishment!

Omg. Awesome!! Super great food. Excellent service. A traditional ’mom and pop’ type experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We had the patty melt and eggs, bacon and toast. It was spectacular!!

Cannot believe I waited so long to come eat here. Staff is awesome and friendly and the food is really good. The portions are very generous and the chicken fried chicken breakfast is excellent. Can’t wait to come back and eat dinner here sometime. In addition, the biscuit I took home was bulldog approved!

Delicious food, generous portions and very friendly service – always a winning combination that keeps me coming back! Came when they had the prime rib special, which was a huge cut of meat. I went with the Ruben and my friends enjoyed the prime rib and a BLT sandwich. Salads were very fresh and everything was delicious. Service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend and say that this is a must-go when in Calhan. Hope you enjoy!

How many places have you eaten where you get a hug from the proprietor on your way out the door? Karen and Stephanie are real people and they are AWESOME. Great food served by the management and a quaint homey atmosphere. Huge portions and a military discount for service members, veterans and first responders. It just doesn’t get any better.

As a European, visiting this restaurant was a shocking experience. We were served by a gentleman who carried a loaded gun at his side. Pro-gun statements, war slogans or Trump posters were hung all over the walls. If you want a real hillbilly redneck experience, go there, it’s unbelievable. Oh yes, the lettuce was rotting and the food in general and as expected typical American trashy and unhealthy.

Yummy biscuits and gravy. Delicious coffee. One suggestion……..how bout’ you keep your plates during this bone chillin’ winter on a food warming tray. Ive seen them at the ARC cheap.The icy cold plate cooled my food too quickly. Other than that……. real friendly folk. We loved the patriotic feeling inside restaurant.
