My hotel suggested this for a healthy, quiet spot to read and work. Incredible! Chill environment. Seriously, the best avocado toast I’ve ever tasted! (And I hail from CA, land of avocado toast!) Met the owner and his wife who were so kind to me and all those who entered. Can’t wait to return on our next visit!

Visited today with my sister and absolutely loved it. Well-priced, large menu, and the food was super filling despite only offering vegan options. The people working were so incredibly nice too.. they kept thanking us for visiting and helped us choose what to get. It also helps that the inside of the restaurant was adorable. Highly recommend if you’re in Newport!

So good we went 3 times in 24 hours! I’m not even vegan! The options are really delicious, filling, and clean. We’re from NYC so we can be picky about food but Root didn’t disappoint. The owners and staff were really nice and we loved going back to try something new from the menu each time. We’ll miss this for sure. Can’t wait to go back next season!
