This place has quite decent food at a good price. I like the fast-casual style, so you pay at the front which means no required tip. The lunch bento was around $11 which is a great deal on a meal that will fill you up. There was no wasabi to go with the roll which was a bit of a shame. And the bento is definitely more American than Japanese style. The onion “tempura” definitely tasted more like an onion ring. That being said everything was still fresh and tasty, and the value is hard to beat. Wife and I enjoyed the meal.

Kyoto offers excellent services and cuisine, I’ve been there many times since its opening and I can’t find a bad thing to say about it at all. The staff is very friendly and the food is always delicious the dining room is always in good condition and it’s always just a pleasant place to relax and enjoy great food be it with friends or by yourself to relax.

This is authentic Japanese food. Trust me. I’ve lived part-time in Tokyo and love this food. I just ate the sashami and tempura. I can’t comment on the rest. Great atmosphere too. Everyone is respectful here, including the customers.

Finally talked my wife in trying a sushi place in an old fast food location, glad i did! Meals were huge! Good was very good. Only complaint would be the chicken was a little fatty. Will definitely go back! Love the drive thru option!

I went here to take my friend out for sushi on her birthday. I thought it would be a nice experience, but it wasn’t. The food and drinks were very slow to be ready. The workers had attitudes. The sushi was alright for the price that’s the only reason I’m giving 2 stars, although I almost choked on mine and wayyy too much cucumber was added to my friend’s California rolls (as you can see in the picture. Also worst of all they messed up on our bubble teas. Both mine and my friend’s were bland and had no flavor. She ordered a coconut milk tea and I ordered a matcha milk tea slush as I have at many places before; when the drinks came out we couldn’t even tell which was whose. The matcha one didn’t even look green it was pale… basically I was sipping on unsweetened milk and ice. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will not be coming back!

Not at all impressed with the portion of the dish. I ordered grill combo thinking I’d get doube the protein portion as I should’ve, which is why it’s called a “combo,” and for that dish, even though it’s lunch dish, I paid $18 thinking I’d get what I paid for. I ordered shrimp and calamari to my surprise they give you 3 shrimps and around 8 small pieces of calamari. Yup, you read that right, three shrimps. With this price, you’d expect a decent dish. You can pay the same price for a buffet and eat as much as you want. The portion is a joke. I don’t recommend it.
