Yummy ! Recommend. Came in for the lunch specials, spicy crab roll and beef teriyaki. Portions were a great size and they both included soup and ginger salad for the price. Beef was tender and rice was perfect. We will definitely be back ◡̈

Great quality and underrated! As much as I like Umami on Durango I did not want to wait 1.5 hrs for a table for 2. Sakura Ya is a hidden gem in Centennial/NW Vegas and their wait time was zero on a Friday night. They don’t have ayce but they have specials with 2-3 rolls + chef’s choice nigiri/sashimi that makes up for it. They don’t get enough traffic because of the plaza placement so they are pretty much a hole-in-the-wall gem in Skye Canyon but there’s so much parking. The servers are not too confrontational as a high-traffic location would be and let you eat in peace but if you raise your hand or look at them for something they come to you right away!

We tried Sakura Ya based on previous reviews. However, we were disappointed because the sushi is poorly rolled in that the rice doesn’t cover the seaweed and the roll is flattened like a burrito. Their California roll has crab in it, but they don’t mention the shellfish on the menu. Shaved ginger is stale and wilted. On the good side, the salmon and yellow tail were fresh. Courteous and fast service.

My boyfriend and I went to get some stuff at Smiths but saw this place next to it. Thought we’d try it out since I like sushi. We went around 8:30 and they were closing by 9:30 I believe, but were still happy to have us. The service from the gentleman who took our order was nice, and the lady who got our drinks was attentive. The food was amazing. We ordered sushi, katsu, seafood udon, and the scallops. It was all just perfect and well portioned for the price. Probably my favorite Japanese spot to come back to. Very very pleased. Thank you for a pleasant experience!

This was the best place ever! My family herd from other people that it was really good, so we went to see if that was true. And it really was! The food was delicious, the service was great, and it only took 5 minutes for our food to be out! I HIGHLY recommend Sakura Ya!
