Delicious, hearty chicken and sausage gumbo. Their boudin balls and boudin egg rolls were also a treat. Serving portions were generous. I really felt like a part of their family there, they even sent us back with more food I can’t wait to try!

Outstanding food and excellent service! Little place serving up big flavor! Fried catfish, crawfish etouffe, smothered okra, black-eyed peas, green beans, cole slaw, cornbread, & boudin. Every bit of it was outstanding!

The food here was recommended by a friend and let me tell you, this place did not disappoint. The seafood gumbo was very delicious and left me more than satisfied. The service here was also excellent the two workers the lady and a man were very kind. My friend had the boudin plate and she was also more than happy with her food. Definitely plan on coming back and recommend anyone else to try it if you’re in the mood for Cajun.

I had smoked a fat joint and gone to get my dreads fixed. I passed this establishment on the way. 2 hours later feeling the munchies from the aforementioned joint iv walked on down here. The proprietor met me at the counter and explaining what was on the menu i ordered the plate/sampler. Awesome!! I’m so full I’m have to smoke another joint just to eat dinner! Very friendly service, I highly recommend this place for a food feed!

The seafood gumbo was really good! Nice mix of shrimp, crawfish and little heat. And the smoked boudain was a nice side to go with the gumbo. Dining area was clean and staff was friendly.

Here is complete honesty for you. As someone who doesn’t live in Baytown and doesn’t regularly visit, we found this place on a whim simply because of these reviews. We pulled up and were reluctant to even go in because this place is in a building of a vacant parking lot. But I am SOO glad that we did! We were greeted with a friendly face, who made us feel completely at home! We order the oxtail (oh my word!!!! HEAVENLY!) with mustard greens and black eyed peas and the chicken and sausage gumbo along with the boudain egg rolls. Every single thing we ordered was salivating delicious! I was completely shocked and utterly impressed with the service, the flavors and the quality of food. Everything came out hot and ready to eat. We will be back! Best Cajun food we’ve had in ages.

I am obsessed with this place!! My favorite thing is their daily specials that they have. They always hit the spot! I especially love the beef tips! The people working are extremely cool and easy to talk to. Will definitely keep coming back!
