I thought the roll I ordered tasted a bit off. So I chose not to eat it all. Unfortunately, I ate enough to get an extremely bad case of food poisoning. I am now into my third day. Lesson learned the hard way. Will never eat sushi in eastern Oregon again. Sushi restaurants, please, if you are going to serve raw fish, keep the safety of your customers in mind when deciding to keep it beyond its time – let alone serving it. I do not recommend this establishment.

Best (out of an admittedly small selection) sushi place in La Grande/Island City. Since the closing of Thai Fresh’s sushi bar, I come here for good food. Service isn’t bad, but there is a slight language barrier that makes communication an issue.

An out of towner, craving sushi. Ordered 3 rolls took at least 30-45 minutes and I was the only one in the restaurant. Sushi was just ok. Service was ok not great. Maybe their other options are good.
