It’s nice to finally have a hibachi option on the island. The food was fine and our waitress (Faith) was pleasant and attentive. I did like the fact that they offered a ginger/peanut sauce for the salad, which was different from other hibachi places.

Great addition to local food options. We did a dine in table visit, not hibachi but they do have the whole hibachi experience. Lots of hibachi grills so wait times are low but very limited table seating so wait time is a bit longer if not doing the hibachi. I assume that’s due to just opening and are probably planning to accommodate more in the future. They do also offer carryout and have a small bar/sushi bar area fits roughly 10-12. For dinner we had sushi items and the hibachi entrees. The mystery sushi roll was amazing and very theatrical served on a flaming plate! The food was on point as far as taste, quality and quantity goes. I will likely be returning many many times in the future for lunch dinner and events.

We went on August 4, 2023. They have just recently opened. Our server and chef were amazing and the food was absolutely delicious! We had the filet mignon and scallops hibachi dinner and took home the yummy leftovers for later. We’ll definitely be going back!

I’ll give it a 4 for a newly opened restaurant. Food was good. Steak, shrimp, soup, salad, and rice were good. yum yum needs work, seemed to lack flavor. Chef was friendly, Server seemed very green but was sweet. A concern with contamination when the meat was sliced (raw chicken then cooked steak). The place is spacious and pretty. I have no doubt once the new restaurant jitters are gone it will be a great addition to the island!

Overall, our dining experience was good. Service and friendliness were the best part of our meal. The hostess was cordial and our server was very attentive. Our dishes came out quickly.

tonight was our first time visiting, went out with my mom to celebrate my birthday. we actually didn’t do the hibachi and instead opted for a traditional dining experience. for this, the atmosphere is calm but not too quiet (exactly what i enjoy!), and the restaurant is very spacious and welcoming. we ordered some wine and the vegetable tempura to start. the wine was lovely and tempura was perfectly fried; i think the onion was the best part, it was like a gourmet onion ring haha! i recommend getting some teriyaki sauce on the side for dipping too, it’s super good! for dinner itself we ordered from their sushi bar. let me tell you they definitely make fantastic rolls. i ordered a lot because i knew i’d want to have some leftover for lunch tomorrow.

I understand this is a new restaurant and don’t want to hurt them but this is a review of my families experience. The server forgot our drinks multiple times and had to keep reminding her as we watch people get their drinks first who ordered after us. My daughters plate of food was wrong and the server kept arguing with me until she got the manager or owner who took it off the check. The gyoza app we ordered came when we were almost done our meal and I had to tell them to cancel our roll that never came. I watched this happen at multiple groups eating hibachi where the rolls or sushi would come after they finished,at least warn me so I won’t order it. The group next to us got the wrong sushi but ate it because they wanted some type of sushi. The hibachi was ok. We noticed they rushed to seat people for hibachi but then you would wait 20 minutes for a server to acknowledge you maybe getting your drink order. I saw a group at the grill across from us leave because they waited to long and still nobody came to get the other 2 groups drink orders for another 10 minutes. I will give this place another chance in months to see if it is better but not anytime soon for the money we spent for the food and service we got. I hope they fix it, it seems like a family run business and would like to see it succeed.

Tokyo Bay is really the best place. The food served is delicious and the chef is very nice. Mochi ice cream and special fried ice cream are very good as well.
