The pulled pork was excellent. I have eaten here several times and am always impressed with the portions and taste of the food. The BBQ fries are delicious. I love to mix the pulled pork with the slaw and beans. I go to Bub-ba-q at least twice a year when I visit family in Jasper!

A solid bbq joint. Waitresses are very friendly and helpful if not a little overworked. Service was a tad slow on a Thursday lunch. Overall one of my new favorites. Good prices too.

Service was fast and friendly. We ordered a full rack of ribs, they spilt them for onto two plates. They were good, just a little overcooked and chewy. But the flavor was good. The fried okra was very good. I liked the beans.

Hesitate bc of other reviews, but the wings was 10/10 alone. Brisket samich 7/10. Ma n law said ribs was really good. Wednesday is half price wings. I’d eat here again for sure.

Great barbecue, some of the best brisket we have ever tasted. My husband tried to pry the recipe out of the waitress. It’s a secret, so no luck. Staff is super friendly. This place will be our new spot and we are driving from Woodstock.

Would never eat here again. From the second we walked in we were unimpressed. Atmosphere was dark and dingy. Hostess made a comment that with it being so close to the holiday and people bbq’ing why would anyone want… we were the only customers in the restaurant. We asked for the most tender part of the pulled pork and got what looked like dry Spaghetti. Fried Mac and cheese was terrible frozen kraft triangles. Another customer came in, sat at the table across from us and ordered and her food came out right away. She stated it was cold and wanted to leave. Instead of taking it to the back of the house the server started talking bad about her in front of us. Needless to say, when gas station/travel center (the beaver one, if you know what I mean) pulled pork tastes better than this, I think that says a lot. Do yourself a favor and don’t eat here. The staff basically stood around and did nothing. The owner should really take a look again at what his restaurant has become.
