Love this place, the decor is fantastic and the lineup of beer is great. Has lots of the Golden Age beer always available as they are affiliated and a good selection of Imported beers. If you enjoy lagers, pils, and German style beers this is the place. The pizza is also very delicious. Great place to grab a beer and some food, lots of places also in walking distance.

I actually love this place. A great draft selection you won’t find elsewhere. But the main issue – hidden fees. First, their bottled beer is not accurate to what is posted online – instead of 30 bottles listed online, it was 7 bottles in stock. Several of the other listed bottles are not available there but at their affiliated bottle shop. But even more importantly, there is a $5 corking fee on all bottled beer. This is not listed. I do not understand why they have listed a to-go price on their bottled/canned beer menu at a restaurant; the expectation at a restaurant is to drink there. If this was noted or told to me, no problem, but it was not. This is unacceptable to the consumer. A restaurant should be listing bottled/canned beer prices at their true price or listing the corkage fee if not. This is not a bottle shop which is shown by only having 7 beer—it is a restaurant. I have ordered bottled sours at many restaurants and not come across hidden fees.

Went for the opening night of their event filled, weeklong celebration of their 5 year anniversary. I had a great cocktail, a 2000 Kabinett Riesling , and ended the evening with a Caprese Pizza and a glass of the 2008 Millésime Charles Orban Champagne (which they’re doing by the glass for only $17! ). The drinks, food, staff, ambiance, everything was just incredible. Can’t wait to come back!

Came with a group of friends and got fun cocktails and 2 pizzas. We did wait 45 minutes for our pizzas, but the cashier was upfront about that and were ok with it. Our pizzas were the cacio pepe and the pepperoni peps. The cacio Pepe was a yummy white sauce pizza and tasted better with pepper flakes. The pepperoni pep pizza had a savory combination of jalapeño and honey on it. It was disappointing that the pizza had burnt crusts

A fantastic addition to the dining and drinking scene in the Highland Park/East Liberty area. The staff is friendly, the prices are spot on and the pizza is a very pleasant surprise. I highly recommend a visit.

Fun drinks and woodfired pizza. They have imported beers from Germany and local Pittsburgh beer. You seat yourself and order at the bar. We ordered the pickle pizza special and cocktails. Everything tasted great; pizza was ok (but that would be good for Pittsburgh). Drinks and food were served quickly. Prices were so-so (high for small pizzas; average for cocktails and drinks). It’s a nice spot to just drink and chat.

Great food and exceptional service! The drinks are so tasty and the pizza is phenomenal. The décor is fresh and elegant. They required vaccination when I visited, but that made me feel a lot more comfortable because the place was packed.

Solid Neapolitan pizzas. Good beer selection sourced from European imports and local Pittsburgh breweries. Go there off peak hours because they’re frequently crowded and don’t take reservations.
