Ok everyone if you read any of my previous reviews you know how I feel about customer service. The owners are GREAT! They were so courteous and patient. Also, I am skeptical about restaurants at gas stations BUT this place is clean and health review is a 95/A (I pay attention to ALL that). Ok, and YES the food is really good . We do not live close by but we will be going back. Try them and tell me what you think. Lets support our small businesses!

Catfish was over breaded and not done. Zoom in on the pictures. They was bragging about how big the fish is but if you can’t cook it why serve it? I suggest to get normal size fish. I will not be returning at all I’m not happy. They gave me a refund and I appreciate it. Good luck with your business. Thank you

While we ordered just before closing, several sides and items were missing. My catfish plate only had one piece of fish, and no fries. An order of hush puppies was missing. We were extremely shorted. The food itself was phenomenal. My one piece of fish was crispy and delicious. The pot roast was wonderful, like a homemade roast. All considered, pricing was incredibly reasonable. So, I look forward to trying V Soul again someday, with hopes of a better experience.

This place is awesome. The food was great. I ordered the 2 piece whiting with collard greens and added potato salad. The greens perfectly seasoned and the texture was spot on. Don’t mention the fish. Very well seasoned and with the right amount of crispness. Add hot sauce, done. Finished it off with a banana pudding. If you tell your grandma. She’ll being getting it here too. Much love to this restaurant. See you in bit. My new go-to restaurant in the Winder area. I’ll take a picture before I eat the next time.

The food was fabulous! Nice and clean I like the fact they had several young people working and I had the pleasure of witnessing the guy teaching a young man about business old school style,we need more people like that to school our young men. I went close to closing they were out of the pot roast I had ordered online and so a lady came out and let me substitute for oxtails instead (no extra charge) Customer service was A1. We will definitely be returning. Prices were also very decent for the quality and quantity of food you receive.

The Customer Service is Five Star . I ordered a Large Oxtail Dinner and a Shrimp and Catfish Dinner. The Collards, Cabbage, and Pinto Beans were absolutely, amazingly palatable; whomever prepared those items will have me returning weekly, I LOVE great southern soulful cooking.

I had the shrimp mac ‘n cheese and hubby had the fish and chips. We also got the catfish platter for my mother. All three dishes were delicious, and the portion sizes are huge. The owner and her husband are genuinely friendly people. I hope they do well in this area. We will be going back! Oh, and peach cobbler and banana pudding were delicious as well!

I highly recommend V Soul restaurant and grill when you are in or near the area. The delightful wait staff will greet you with warmth, making you feel at home instantly. The chef follows up by preparing a meal that reminds you of days gone by when you could tell that a love for cooking was the special ingredient added to every dish. His skills in the kitchen are superb. I had the fish and shrimp basket with hush puppies and was not disappointed at all. I enjoyed every bite. My wife had the amazing shimp Mac & cheese which she and I both couldn’t stop complimenting. Other members of our party had dishes ranging from the ox tails to the fried chicken tossed in chipotle sauce and many of the sides available, no one had any complaints and all plates were emptied. Oh yeah and I can’t forget to mention the signature drinks. Both are non alcoholic and kid friendly. I had the V punch which is their special recipe and it tastes like nothing but perfection! My sister-in-law had the V punch and tea and stated that although our punch tasted very good the tea was better, just something else for me to try next time I stop by. Do yourself a favor and plan your trip to Atlanta making sure V Soul is on top of you list to check out.
