I recently had the pleasure of dining at this small restaurant that serves up some seriously delicious home cooking! From breakfast to lunch to dinner, every dish on the menu is made with love and care. But what you should really check out is the steak-in-a-sack, the salmon cakes and pancakes and don’t forget to try the lemonade made by Kim – it’s a must-try! It packs a real punch and perfectly complements the old-fashioned feel of the place. If you’re in the area, make sure to stop by and check out the full menu. And don’t forget to say hi to Kim! She’s a gem and really adds to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. Highly recommend!

Best breakfast you can get in the area if you want a black culture homestyle breakfast. Atmosphere is terrible. Needs to be cleaned and attention to detail needs to be paid to the overall look of the place. You don’t have to make it look like a 5 star restaurant but you should take pride in cleanliness, order, and organization…which this restaurant clearly could care less about. Paper plates and plastic forks?? Really? Do better. Also the wait is very long. But again, the food is fantastic.

I brought my brother who was visiting from Chicago & like I promised him, the food was GREAT!! Our server LeeLee was fast, funny & blast of sunshine. The whole staff & atmosphere were friendly. Even the music was really good. Great place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Our Life
The food was excellent. There is a new owner it seems to be a family. My son and I wanted to find something close. We used to only come for the breakfast sandwich. We will now come at least once a week to have mother and son meal! Support B.O.B

I wish I could give no stars. The food was not great. I support black businesses and it’s a must however I will not support black and the food is disgusting and the customer service even worst. When I walked into the restaurant there was an employee sitting near the cashier and I spoke with a big smile on face to get a blank stare from the woman in return. Wow black people we must do better. I was a 1st time customer and NOW I WILL NOT RETURN… avoid businesses who don’t even value themselves but they want you to spend money with them.

Honestly being a black man I really wanted this experience at a black establishment to be so much different but nevertheless it was not I seated myself with all the employees just staring at me in the face of the owners not in the establishment runs itself I’ve been here twice my order never comes out correctly the employees that I witnessed that handle food runds there hair face etc without washing their hands very unsanitary this seems to be the narrative of black business I honestly wish we could do better as a culture I will continue to support our culture but we have to do better in business is we ant to achieve success instead of a person standing up to do a job meaning of u the owner but the dishes need washing wash them if a waitress is busy and a customer at a table needs assistance don’t look the customer away be attentive to each customer needs I wish this review helps with your business in the future a black customer just giving a constructive insight to what I witnessed.
