I was in Morgantown for one night and needed a quick bite. This place totally hit the spot. I was skeptical at first of the Mexican Ramen dish but was too curious not to try it. I’m so glad I did bc it’s delicious!! My partner got the vegetarian fajitas with rice and beans. That was super good too. Its an order at the counter place so the food came out fast and hot. Perfect for a tasty quick meal.

Ridiculously delicious Mexican food right in downtown Morgantown! We loved all the food we got, we just wished that the nachos were served with the chips separately because the chips got a bit soggy. I’d also loooove some elote in a cup, but on the cob was great too. We will be back!

My 2 favorite things are noodles and burritos and they’ve managed to put them both into one delicious bowl! I highly recommend the Birriramen! The guy at the counter was very welcoming and the food was great..in a town full of of Mexican restaurants with similar dishes, Monarca Taqueria offers new flavors and dishes unique to them.

I was concerned reading a couple reviews complaining about small portions and upcharge for meat, but I’m always willing to give a place a try. We got multiple things, and the food is so dang delicious!! I don’t know what people are talking about it, because the portions and price are very reasonable. The staff was very nice as well. Hope to be returning soon!

I ordered a burrito with chicken to go. The menu on the wall said adding grilled chicken would be an additional $1.75, but the cashier charged me $5 extra. I should have said something but I wasn’t feeling well. Unfortunately, the burrito was mainly filled with rice and a good amount of lettuce, with very little beans or chicken. The taste also was disappointing. I wanted to give this new business a try, but I’ll stick with La Tapatia, which always is delicious!

HANDS DOWN the BEST Mexican food in morgantown! Everything is done perfectly, from the rice and beans, to the salsa, to the meat. Flavors are authentic and DELICIOUS. Definitely something for everybody. All of the staff is super friendly as well.
