Oh my goodness, I cannot think of one bad thing to say about Mauricio’s. I was staying in New Jersey from way out of town, so there was a long period of hard struggles to learn and discover great places to eat. Let me tell you, Mauricio’s hit the spot when we needed it most! We were looking for high quality Italian food and we got just that! Not only was the food superb, but I got a lot of it for an affordable price of $12.95. I ordered a Filletto Di Pomodoro which came with a great and flavorful salad, fresh bread, and fettuccini with prosciutto, marinara sauce, and onions. As well as the food being heavenly, the service was also heavenly. The staff provided friendly and efficient table service. They were wonderful people who really bent over backwards to make sure we were happy and everything came out in a timely manner. I was stuffed! I would definitely return if I am ever back in the area.

Everything I’ve ever eaten here is delicious. Mauricio takes the time to prepare everything fresh and anything that is fried or has grease doesn’t leave you feeling heavy or lethargic like other places. I also love that they always remember my order. This place really has a mom and pop feel to it. I highly recommend!

Hands down best breakfast in jersey city! I love getting the breakfast platter with an extra egg and extra sausage! The pork sausage is packed with flavor and is a real sausage link that snaps when you bite into it. Also can’t go wrong getting a sausage egg and cheese on a roll. The bread is always fresh and the grits are fantastic as well. Great place great service extremely friendly staff. 10 out of 10 great price as well
