I have placed orders here before. This time I ordered rice and a chicken dish. The rice had no flavor whatsoever. It was supposed to be pork fried rice. Then I ordered a chicken dish and the sauce was flavorless and the consistency was literally like water. They could have added cornstarch to thicken the sauce. The same evening I thickened the sauce at home with cornstarch. Will not return. Very disappointed.

I’ve tried for years and it doesn’t get better. Taste is bland. Food is never warm. I’ll drive the 35 minutes to Woodstock for chop suey hut. Tonight was my last time trying, under cooked rice on all meals is unacceptable and gross.

Five stars for New China Taste. They serve the best dishes that rival all the Chinese restaurants around. I recommend the Kung Pao Chicken with peanuts and the shrimp with veggies. The only drawback is that they only have 2 tables for dining.

My husband and I have been going here since they first opened. We won’t be going back for a long time, if ever. Their potstickers used to be great but now they are the same as I could buy in the freezer section in the grocery store–awful! The rest of our meal was marginal at best. Too bad because they used to be our local go to place for Chinese food.

I ordered the Mongolian Beef, the beef tasted like it was rotten. I didn’t even finish my first bite I spit it out immediately. The rice underneath was overcooked and mushy.
