this place is AMAZING!! so so authentic, service was great and pretty quick, and the food was top notch. would highly recommend the beef ho fun, as well as the potstickers and scallion pancakes. very large portions for relatively inexpensive prices. some of the best i’ve had!!

As mentioned in several other reviews, they’ll overcharge customers and demand more money than what was on the menu. I attempted to order an item that was listed as 11.99 on the menu, but when it came time to swipe my card, the total came out to be around 16 dollars before tips. When I confronted them about this discrepancy, they pointed to a tiny sticker on one of the pages of the menu, indicating a $3 adjustment added to all prices.

The best (and most authentic) Chinese food in Iowa City! They have an extensive menu and execute it very well. Their hot pots are the best price in town, and they also do great deals on lunch specials. In addition it is extremely difficult to find Cantonese dishes in the area, and Uncle Sun is the only restaurant to offer any – would definitely recommend their soup noodles with rice noodles (米线）as well! Will definitely continue to come back to try more dishes and maybe their dim sum and mousse layer cakes too!

After placing large order was informed we could not pay with cash. Very disappointing. Will never be going there again and will be letting everyone on social media know about how rude the woman was. Very disrespectful and a huge dishoner to the establishment.

Don’t order from this place. The food is sub-par, the driver always leaves your food out by the street instead of just opening the door if you live in a complex like me, AND they charge your card for your order 3 weeks later after it bounces back because no one completed the transaction on their end. They’ve done this to me at least three times. I won’t be eating here again. You shouldn’t either unless you want them bouncing in and out of your bank account for another month after you order the first time.
