Tried the shrimp volcan tacos…very tasty :). They were served with a tajin based sauce on the side, which really isn’t my taste. But the squirt of lime on top was good enough for me, it really brought out the flavor of the avocado and cilantro. It was a little pricey at $15 for 3 street sized tacos, but to be expected with seafood. And the shrimp were decently sized and cooked to perfection, a mouthful of shrimp with every bite. Would definitely like to try more of their menu.

Had the ribeye and shrimp vulcan tacos and wish I would have ordered more. Not because I wasn’t full but because everything about them were so good that I just wanted more. I tried getting tacos elsewhere the next day to fix my taco itch from matador and they were good… but just didn’t hit the spot the way Matador’s did! I’ll be back at Lustre Pearl South next weekend for my fix! May try something else but it’s going to be hard to given how good the tacos were on my previous visit! Love the staff, love the tacos, love the atmosphere. Would give 10 stars if I could!

Ribeye tacos are out of this world, just get there early enough before they run out and close. Most days at 7pm, you are probably too late. Cool place to kick it, very chill outdoor scenes in Lustre Pearl’s backyard, tables, other food trucks, big TV in the yard, kids and families, folks grabbing a beer. A great Austin hangout

Stoked to be able to try this food truck at Lustre Pearl! Everything was really well seasoned and well cooked. I will say the front of the food truck is sort of deceiving and looks closed sometimes. Just walk up to it and order.

This place is ridiculously good. Everything we tried was delicious. Loved the grandmas tacos (only on Tuesday), the ribeye tacos, choripan and the Cubano! The owner is so passionate about his food and you can clearly tell.

The first night was so excellent that we came back for seconds! I had the shrimp tacos and loved them! The shrimp was fresh, tortillas perfectly done and portion size was on point. Nothings better than made to order food from a food truck! Can’t wait to come back for more.

Great food… if you ever get the chance to eat here. It’s Saturday at 1pm and they still aren’t open, even when their hours show they are. This is the third time we’ve made the trip to their food truck over the weekend and they aren’t open. Quite annoying and I wish they’d update hours. Anyway, shrimp tacos and guacamole are fantastic!
