We like the concept of blended cuisine in one location. This restaurant offers Asian and Mexican. The restaurant was not crowded, we were in between peak lunch and peak dinner, but service was slow.

This place seems to be pretty popular. We decided to try it during the day on a Monday. We probably didn’t get the best it has to offer. That being said it is a sit down restaurant, but had no hostess and no sign telling you to seat yourself. The service was slow as well. It took several minutes for the server to arrive. Once we had a server they were prompt with appetizers, drinks and the food. The booth we had was clean and comfortable. I had the #99 Crazy Pinapple and it was very good. Just a unique dish. I have had something similar in a Tai restaurant, but never in a Mexican place. The salsa wasn’t my favorite, I don’t like onions and it seems like they add fresh cut onions just before it comes out. I tried the honey shrimp from the Red Bowl side and it was also very good. Overall it wasn’t a bad experience and it came out to around $55 with my daughter getting the pan seared dumplings (also very good), and my brother and wife getting a lunch combo. Overall it was good, but neither the Mexican food or the Asian food was as good as other restaurants in the area. Pretry cool getting chips and salsa at an Asian restaurant though.

I’m always surprised by the quality of food and service here. Even though they have two full menus (both Red Bowl and Cancun are run out of the same kitchen) and a full bar everything I’ve had has been good. Staff are friendly and the kitchen is quick. Nothing too fancy, just a nice local restaurant. A great place to go when you cant agree on if you want Chinese or Mexican food.

So I was a little confused with the setup upon entering. Two restaurant, one building. The Half of the building to the left is Cancun- Mexican Cuisine and to the right is Red Bowl Asian Bistro. I went with the Mexican. The portions are very large. The food was good. The cheese dip was good, but it’s hard to mess up cheese dip. The crazy nachos will feed three people. The waiters were very pleasant and attentive. Food was ok service was good.

really good!! we ordered from the asian cuisine but it did not disappoint! The crab rangoons were awesome. We ordered a few drinks as well that were more than satisfactory. Will definitely return:)

This place has no consistency. Every time I order from here, it’s hit or miss on whether my order is going to be good or not. I always order the same thing, and literally 50% OF THE TIME, the order is either messed up, they send different drink sizes, the quality of the chicken is pretty bad, or they just completely skimp you on food. The other half of the time, it’s really freaking good. What’s prompting me to leave this review is the fact that I ordered a two entree box, and literally got THREE pieces of chicken for my second order. Almost half my box was empty. I try to always leave five stars, but Red Bowl is just starting to get on my damn nerves lol

Very strange combo of Mexican/Asian restaurant. Very nice waitress and quick food preparation. We had a party of 11 and had no wait and no problems. Very nice. I had the Mexican tacos and they were delicious. Others had Chinese and they commented their food was very good.
