The food was okay, nothing extraordinary. The waitress was preoccupied with children and I feel could have been more attentive. Overall it is an okay place to eat very homey and pretty good food.

The food is good. But the service is below par. We have been there twice and the servers appear to hate their job. It appears to be a family run business, but you can see the stress of the business through the staff. Both times we felt as if we were a burden just for coming in to eat as if they would rather go home than serve their customers. I used to work in the restaurant industry before becoming a Nurse so I get it…. But it just sucks when customers can see the miserable faces of the staff when all we wanted was a happy night out for ourselves.

This place is amazing! It’s so under rated. The staff are so nice and very attentive to you! I’ve only had one or two problems with my order and as soon as I pointed it out they were on top of helping me.

I went there yesterday, got the Pollo Loco which was very good and a big portion. But service was terrible. The girls that were working were extremely rude and did the bare minimum. Never asked if we were okay/how the food was/no refills. Took forever when we did ask for something else. Didn’t smile. The men were very nice. Exactly how customer service should be.

The most enjoyment I’ve gotten out of a Mexican restaurant ever. That was absolutely delicious. And the authenticity? Amazing. Loving the art and murals too. Dripping with ripe culture. I’d love to visit again after covid’s over too.

Met some friends for dinner at 7pm on a Friday night. It wasn’t very busy, so we were able to have pleasant conversations at a reasonable volume level. The menu has a lot of interesting choices, the food was well prepared and tasty, and the service was very friendly and efficient. I recommend!

Went in excited…left super hungry and disappointed. The food was subpar but the service was absolutely terrible. Waitresses were monotone and seemed to hate their job, hate us and hate life. They brought us our appetizer to share between 4 people and no plates. I tried to flag down our waitress and finally got up and asked a different waitress for a for a few plates and they seemed inconvenienced and annoyed. I have a picky 2 1/2 year old son who wanted the cheeseburger and fries…. well when it came out it was completely inedible. (I took a picture and posted) I would not let my son eat it it was so disgusting. So all around bad service and crap food! I do not recommend!

My wife and I went here last night and I was fairly disappointed. Contrary to other reviewers I found the service to be prompt and friendly but the food was sub-par. Everything we ordered tasted like it was marinated in salt. I sucked down beer just to get through the meal and my wife didn’t even finish hers. I prefer either El Espolon or El Jimador over this place – not only is their food better but their prices for drinks are a lot better and they have a greater selection of foods to choose from.

This place is great. The food is always excellent. The only “gripe” I guess is that when my husband and I got there, when they first opened, we were the only ones there. About ten minutes later or so, another couple came in and was seated in the booth RIGHT next to us. Thank goodness they weren’t the loud type lol. But I would recommend this place for a good Mexican meal.
