Great ambiance. Outside seating and clean. But let’s be honest, it’s about the food. Great place to get sushi if it is gas station quality you’re into. Rice was dry (probably from lack of freshness). Everything was smothered in sauce most likely to cover up the poor quality of the fish. Honestly, I should have looked at the reviews before we tried it. Overpriced for the quality. A 50 dollar meal that should have been under 14. Disappointed.

I used to think this was an okay place for sushi. But after last night, and I think they got a new sushi chef, the food tasted nothing like before. The rolls were sloppy and tasted nothing like they used to and the octopus was cut wrong, they made it so thick you couldn’t even chew it. And thanks to them me and my son god food poisoning last night. Not going there again. And I see everyone complain about service, the plus 20 times I’ve ate there the service was great the ladies were always sweet and friendly.

I’ve visited this restaurant three different times, three different services. Today twice I visited the restaurant advertises they open at noon but wasn’t open. The young lady was rude when we knocked on the door and said we aren’t opening until 1230. Our server was amazing our food was good. So we had dinner / takeout. I walked in spoke and the server looked at me and walked right past me. Every time he approached the front seating area he avoided eye contact and yet again didn’t speak. The lack of customer service for over half of the staff is more than unacceptable. I honestly don’t recommend eating here and see why it’s never busy. They seats outside looks weathered and in poor condition. Edgar was awesome! His fellow servers should take a page from his book.

Whole experience was awful. Show up and nobody greets us or tries to seat us, just kept walking by or standing by the bar talking. Finally we get seated and order. They bring out the appetizer and our meal at same time. Instead of shrimp tempura, they brought out calamari. The sushi was supposed to be wrapped in soy paper but came out in seaweed so I couldn’t even eat it. My wife ended up trying to eat my roll but the the seaweed was so chewy the whole roll was Inedible. I tried eating some of the toppings off my roll like the pineapple but it was frozen solid. We ended up leaving, unable to finish any of the food.

Yuck! I cannot even begin to describe how awful this dining experience was. We started with the shrimp and vegetable tempura and that wasn’t that bad. The broccoli was not great but OK. The other pieces were acceptable. My husband and I ordered 4 rolls to share between the 2 of us and ended up only eating one piece each of each roll. We ordered the spicy tuna roll, the sweet geisha roll, the pepper hamachi roll and the torched salmon roll. I have never had such disgusting sushi rolls. It was a huge waste of money and we will NEVER eat here again! Gross gross gross!!! We are going to contact AAFES vendor food services to let them know that this place is sub par, but I can’t imagine it will be around for much longer anyway. Our service members deserve better than this place!

Really awful service. Takes you like 10 minutes just to get your drink. The food was sub quality by far. I had the spicy ramen, I’ve seen more noodles in a dollar cup than here. The soup itself was just a bigger portion of the miso that they start you off with. Waitress disappears and had to wait another 10 for the check. $20.00 for one person for really bad quality food. Stay away from this place.

We have always been happy with the service we received here but today it was terrible, one waiter disappeared and never checked on us and the male was too busy taking shots with the female party next to us to assist us. We missed your waitress Nicole next time we’ll check to make sure she is there before we stop. Keep up the good work, you all need to hire more workers like her. And of course the sushi is always good.

When we arrived we weren’t greeted. When someone finally showed up they said sit wherever even though the sign says wait to be seated. So which is it? We had to wait for the food for about 40 minutes. The entree arrived before the appetizer. The restaurant only had 2 other tables so it’s not like they were busy. Service was non existent. The server only stopped by once although he was stopping by other tables quite often. Definitely not returning. Don’t bother with this place. There’s a reason why most reviews are 1 star.

I highly recommend the lunch special bento boxes, well worth the cost and comes out very quickly. With how crowded lunch time can get on base, this is a perfect fit if you want quality sushi and an attentive server. Also for after work, their drink specials are awesome!

Take Out order and it SUCKED! I am not a picky water what so ever but the sushi must have been frozen or cured wrong or something cause it had a very weird taste to it. The price was slightly in the red zone but for the quality we got I was a not happy. The only thing good was the Miso soup. If you want sushi don’t go anywhere with less than 3.5 stars.
