Vietnamese food is one of my favorites and while this food was good it didn’t meet my expectations in terms of flavor and freshness. The bun was good but lacked seasoning. The egg rolls were too hard and kind of chewy. Overall I would try the place again in the event it is an off day. But not an immediate favorite. Service was great though and there were some beautiful Vietnamese paintings on the walls. The bathrooms were also very clean.

Well I was recommended to try the spring rolls. They were ok not much flavor, some of them were a little too over fried. The steamed rice was ehh. Service was very slow and they didn’t have the chili paste to put with the meal.

Food was great just be patient with the staff as it’s just one person serving everyone. The prices have gone up like everywhere. Highly recommend take it to go vs dinning in.

Update been coming here a while every time, the Lady Rings , extra food that we did not order they are not honest ! The broth is made from base now the noodles have been soggy almost like baby food and with them stealing from people I don’t see how anybody but want to come back watch when she rings up your stuff that she doesn’t ring up a bunch of items, because receipts do not exist in this place! Will never come back!

10/10 on the spring rolls. I’m sure everything else is bomb but for me, it’s the rolls! I dare you to find me a better spring roll in the city. You won’t. You can’t. These are the best!

Another place I have past by for years without stopping. Well that ended today. At this time there is a sign at the door asking visitors to wear a mask to enter. You might want to check before you go, or just have a mask ready… It feels like a house inside that at has been separated into several rooms.. My friend and I were blown away. They had the pho and said they loved it and that this may have been the best they had in a long time. I had the basil lunch with beef. Came with white rice and TWO large spring rolls… I’d go just for those rolls! We also shared a cucumber salad, big enough to share and the chicken wings which were also great! We weren’t even done with our meal and we were planning our next visit!

Food was great..ambience decent enough. Food portion was a bit smallish. Service, the owner was the only waiter. Great guy who seems overworked. ambience is a bit drabby. Family liked this place. Owner has an interesting war story. Please support.

I’m not sure how this place has 4.2 stars. The only good this here are the fried spring rolls. Pho was mediocre, bánh xèo was not good, grilled beef rice plate looked depressing.. and lastly the coffee! It’s not Vietnamese iced coffee.. it’s watered down American coffee with a bunch of condensed milk. We ordered 4 of them and none of us drank it because it was soooo horrible! 4 adults 2 toddlers $160 after tip? No thanks. If the food was amazing, I wouldn’t complain but definitely overpriced & not worth it.

02/16/23. Like the song I’ll never smoke weed with Willie. I came back for more after I said I wouldn’t. This restaurant is a long standing Vietnamese restaurant. I’ve been enjoying the food here since 1983. Owners have changed, prices are incredibly expensive but the flavors never left. We will always come back. The service is hit or miss but always friendly. The eggrolls are what separates this establishment from the others. A lot has changed, the area is more sketchy, more closed businesses. Parking SuX.
