This place is authentic. I’ve lived in Mexico and this was like being transported to another place. The food was excellently flavored, properly seasoned and delicately presented. The atmosphere is friendly, inviting but humble. The restaurant also includes a small grocery where you can find some Mexican exclusive products. Overall, highly recommended.

I ordered the chicken fajitas at this Mexican restaurant in Waynesboro VA, which is located in a humble area. The portion size was generous enough for two people who aren’t big eaters. The chips and tortillas were different than what I’m used to, but the chicken was cooked perfectly with plenty of onions, green peppers, and tomatoes for flavor. The overall experience was pleasant, with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. The food arrived quickly, within 10 minutes, which was great.

The food was just ok. The beans and rice looked and tasted old, and they did not have combo plates or lunch menu. Also, no enchiladas! Loud music was too much, that almost made me leave. The service was great tho, the server was very patient and answered all of my questions.

This is the real deal. Not your “Americanized” Mexican or Tex Mex restaurant. All the dishes we had were outstanding. Not a fancy place, but one doesn’t go there for that. Ask for the red and green hot sauce. I took home their red hot sauce.

We ate here on a whim one day and we were so happy we did! The food was delicious, with plenty of familiar options and plenty of options I hadn’t tried before at other restaurants. Service was quick and friendly, and we had tons of fun browsing the attached mini grocery afterward. 🙂
