Went with a friend for lunch at this place. I had the jambalaya and the dish was missing the spiciness (cayenne or creaole seasoning) so I asked for hot sauce. It tasted better with the hot sauce, the shrimps and chicken tasted good, it was just missing the kick. Good service and the place has a river view.

My wife and I stopped in to grab lunch at the RiverGrille during a lengthy road trip. We had our two dogs with us which they did accommodate. You’re forced to sit away from everyone else (I mean really far away from everyone else), but I guess dogs aren’t for everyone even when eating outside on a deck. Just made it less of a fun experience.

Great place to hang out by the river and grab a drink and food. Service can be slow when it’s crowded, but to be expected. The sangria is always good, can’t say no to the Mahi tacos! Pet friendly, I brought my dog with us and we sat outside and enjoyed the sunset over the river.

JJ was a great server. The restaurant is huge. We saw it on the drive to Daytona and there were so many people we decided to stop on our way back. We are glad that we did. Great, tasty food and excellent service. Definitely recommend trying this place and we will stop by again. The outdoor seating and pier are great.

My wife and I have eaten at RiverGrille on the Tomoka many times and all times were a good experience. Today, however, we were a bit disappointed. The steak was so tough that the steak knife was just ripping pieces off. We thought it was a dull knife but a second knife made no difference. And it was tough to chew. I asked re the scallops if they were the small bay scallops and were assured they were the larger scallops, which I assumed must be the sea scallops. When served, the scallops were the smallest “large” ones I have ever seen. But they were tasty, just not enough for a lunch. The outside seating here can’t be beat.

Jensen, our server was amazing. This seafood place is too delicious and scenic to pass up. We opted to sit on the deck overlooking the bridge and river. (There is indoor seating available and a full inside bar.) We had the crab cream cheese dip with chips, the Samsula Sunset Mardi Gras drink, and the Lb of peel n eat shrimp seasoned with Caribbean Rum. Beautiful views and good Florida eatin. Don’t pass on the hush puppies!

First time eating here. Quick seating and service. Great atmosphere as we ate outside. We ordered a couple appetizers. They came out hot and quickly. I also had a half order of their river bluff sampler which was more than enough food for one.
