About Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria
Considered the oldest family name in Chicago pizza, Lou Malnati’s is as rich in history as its pizza is in flavor.
Lou Malnati got his start in the 1940’s working in Chicago’s first deep dish pizzeria. He took his pizza expertise to Lincolnwood, a northern suburb of Chicago, where he and his wife Jean opened the first Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria on March 17, 1971. Lou was known for his fun-loving character as well as making Chicago’s best pizza. Loyal patrons lined the streets on opening day for a taste of his delicious deep dish creations. Lou always thought it was funny that an Italian should open a pizzeria in a Jewish neighborhood on an Irish holiday.

Ordered thin crust pizza with everything except anchovies & hot peppers and a Malnati’s Salad. The pizza has a unique, flavorful crust and was cooked perfectly.

First time picking up a take out order today. Pizza took a while to be ready but was made correctly and tasted good. Customer service was friendly and helpful.

Pick-up only location. Food always on time. Fresh ingredients. Ample parking available. I ordered my food online, and pay via the website as well. Someone comes out shortly and asks for my name, they usually bring the order out within a minute or two. The food always tastes fresh and they always follow the instructions I give online. Very convenient and easy.

They literally didn’t put enough pizza to even fill the crust… taste is great, but horrible quality

I love Lou’s, but this is not what their pizza is about. We have had plenty of great pizza in the past from this location, but over the last year it’s gotten worse. A soupy deep dish was not ideal for a family night. Hopefully things change in the future!

Got my pizza and was instantly disappointed. Sauce was chunks of tomatoes and I don’t like tomatoes. It wasn’t even real pizza sauce. Also the pizza came soupy had liquid all around it.

I have eaten here before but will not return. I have recently delivered twins and was pumping milk on the hot July 4th when I realized I was out of ice to keep milk cold. My husband went inside to ask for just a little ice. The employee said sure and was on her way to get it when the manager said unfortunately we don’t have any. The employee knew there was ice available and was willing to help. This situation does not sit well with me and I will not return. A little bit of kindness DOES go a long way. I will tell everyone I know not to come here due to this event

Wildly inconsistent. Sometimes it’s cut, other times it’s not. Sometimes the food is ready 10min earlier than what they said, other times it’s up to 30min past the window they said. Sometimes it’s fresh, and other times, it tastes like it’s been sitting. Sometimes, the crust is crispy and…well, crusty. Other times it’s doughy and vastly under cooked. Sometimes, there’s too much sauce on there, like someone had a little attitude in the kitchen. Other times, it’s not even on there. I…….I just want consistency, yall. Or better yet, I just might stick to the frozen section. Least, then I can pick it up when it feel like it.
