It was ok, nothing special. Food took longer than expected and since there are no servers, had to go up to the counter to ask for more tea and napkins. Potatoes and beans needed more seasoning. Chilaquiles uses store bought chips, no biggie. Tortillas were good. Paid $25 for two plates, two teas.

I just moved to downtown SA from Miami, Florida, so I have been around Hispanic food all of my life. I took a chance on this restaurant during one of my lunch breaks and I couldn’t have been happier with the service and food they have to offer. The food is authentic and everything is cooked fresh to order. Salsa is great, tortillas are fresh and warm, and the food is very very good. They also have really good lunch specials.

Pros-Exceptional caldo (soups), both chicken and beef are the best in town along with their charro beans and rice. However did not like their carne asada or chicken, so settled on 4 stars since their best stuff is exceptional
