Absolutely fabulous food. I usually add salt any place i go, but not here. They season their food. The fry on the chicken fried steak was perfection. Grits on point aswell as the biscuits. The apple pie was so flavorful. Hands down one of the best apple pies, al la mode style. I wanted to lick the plate but my wife wouldn’t let me.

Second visit here and was very happy both times. Simple , honest meal that was filling and delicious. It was biscuits and gravy for me and the wife got a B&G, sausage and potatoes. Food was hot and fast. Staff was very friendly. Great place

Read reviews and said had to give it a try. We arrived for breakfast and there was a waiting line. Seated at counter and could fully observe that this was a locals favorite restaurant. Great, friendly atmosphere and many knew each other. (We’re in another community close by). Food was worth the wait with my biscuits and gravy and wife’s belt buster (pancakes, etc). Staff was excellent and had great interaction with customers. Will be back!

We stopped for lunch after seeing glowing recommendations online. We were not disappointed! We got the chicken fried steak. I had mashed “taters” and green beans and my husband had collard greens and loaded “tater” salad. We had apple pie a la mode for dessert. Everything was made from scratch and tasted like it came straight from grandma’s kitchen. Staff was incredibly friendly and service was fast and efficient. We’ll definitely be back!
