Don’t hesitate!! You’ll enjoy this place if you love hearty favorites. I had liver and onions, and it came with two sides, a great salad and bread. The coffee was good too. The menu has something for everyone, the facilities were super clean and the service was outstanding. I look forward to stopping again.

Prices are reasonable. The food is fine. It’s not spectacular. They are trying. We have had dinner and breakfast now. Dinner was much better than breakfast. My omelet was well portioned and the melon in my fruit cup contained ripe melon which I appreciate. My omelet was cold though. Not, maybe it just sat for a minute, it was cold. I didn’t complain because it was still edible and I know they have been struggling. My husband had biscuits and gravy. The gravy had nice big chunks for sausage which is always a good sign. His portions were also very generous.

Stopped in from outta town on the way home. I ordered a western omelet. Everything was cooked well, the vegetables were fresh, and the prices were very reasonable in relation to the portion. I enjoyed my food and would recommend this restaurant. I would definitely stop again if I found myself in Michigan city, Indiana again.

My favorite dinner is their grilled salmon. Dinner comes with soup or salad, and the salmon is always grilled to perfection with a side order or veggies of choice. Add delicious dinner, with the friendly&extraordinary servers for a pleasant/Unforgetable dining experience. We love our Franklin Street Family Restaurant!!

Food was excellent and portioned perfectly. The service was alright as most staff are new. We will definitely go back. However the seats, Bathrooms and inside altogether definitely needs updating. All in all it was pretty good. We will go again.

(LOCALS REVIEW) Our Memorial Day visit wasn’t a good one. 5 of us visited for brunch. Flat soda, semi-warm food and not the most welcoming staff. The icing on the cake was the hair in the tzatziki sauce. Maybe they were off on their game today? Give them a try if you want, we won’t be back.

Very pleased, I was very skeptical about the beef liver and onions… Let me tell you Liver is something you have to have trust in an establishment to order, Absolutely Great, for the Liver and onions people out there give them a try will be going again.. I’m sorry to say this restaurant hasn’t improved since it opened. The only meal I would ever go there for is breakfast. Very good bacon eggs and toast. Rosemarina soup lacked flavor. Potato soup was good. Breakfast burrito was excellent. Steak fries could cook longer. Very nice waitress staff. Still a drab experience.
