The tire shop a block away recommended Players Pub while I waited on repair work. I had the special of the day, a California burger. It was the best burger I’ve had in ages. I will admit that I had been starving for a burger for quite some time and that may have played a role, but still, this place is a local favorite.

This is a great bar. Went out for karaoke night shot some pool had great drinks and the food Here is top tier. They make amazing drinks burgers and even have nights where they serve bento boxes, you can get them with veggies shrimp and or chicken. The staff here is very cool and friendly and the drinks are strong. This is by far my favorite bar in Alpena

Out on a work trip, I was recommended to try the Players Pub and man it did not disappoint. Great locally owned bar and grill with amazing food. I got the chicken bacon ranch wrap with the house made chips. So good!

First time in Player’s this afternoon for a early evening dinner. Had outstanding BLT&T sandwich with an exceptional fresh salad. Very fitting that the jukebox played “I love this Bar” as we were cashing out. Thanks for supporting Alpena High Hockey.
