The lunch service is the worst. There’s no possible way I’d return. I ordered a small brisket at 12:20 pm. I was still waiting at 12:50 pm. Twice they’d verified my order but still nothing. Then they gave it to me at 12:55 pm. I’d asked for no cheese; the sandwich they gave me had no barbecue. I got my money back and left around 1 pm. Firehouse is expensive and the workers have no idea what they’re doing.

I ordered a sweet and spicy meatball sub online. It didn’t come spicy, nor did it come with the swapped cheese I requested. I also asked for them to scoop out some of the bread, and that didn’t happen. These mistakes are why I don’t order online. My order read back to me everything I wanted, and it either didn’t print out my specs or the cook glossed over them. This was a huge disappointment because I’d never had this sub before.

We eat at Firehouse for lunch several times a month. The subs are always perfectly prepared and very tasty. Service is always exceptional. Firehouse is my favorite sub shop. We have eaten at all the Tallahassee location and they are all good.

Normally a decent place that I like going to but this last visit was majorly disappointing. My sub was cold and I did forgot to tell them to take something off but I informed a worker who told someone else. But when I went home my sub had everything on it regardless and it was cold. Always a hit or miss with them, today it was a huge miss.

Restaurant looked much cleaner than last visit. Ordering took quite a while in an almost empty restaurant. Evidently our order was keyed in incorrectly and when we did not receive the Mac and cheese ordered and went up and requested, it was produced. However, during meal a staff member came up to tell us we had not paid for it and needed to see our receipt so she could double check. Three interruptions to the 6 of us and a demand for payment – less than $2. When we explained we had ordered it, she was quite adamant that yes we had, but the order had been input incorrectly and therefore, we owed them for what we had not paid for. Not a win for customer service, all 6 adults were shocked by the incident.
