It was pretty good! Nostalgic menu and atmosphere. The sweetest server. Not healthy food, but a pleasant splurge into tasty, fattening memories (a thing I’ll only do rarely!). Pork tenderloins, fried chicken, burger baskets, shakes, sundaes, pies… the menu is huge. We’ll go back for breakfast one of these days.

Wednesday lunch, came in right at noon. Sat in a booth, ordered the special, crispy chicken salad $8.95. The food came out fast, looked good and tasted good. The furniture is a little outdated and could use to be scrubbed down. All in all good food from a small town restaurant.

I tried to review that place on Trip Advisor but it doesn’t come up on their site. Too bad. This is a nice country diner in small town America. Staff was so nice. Food was good and hot and simple. Fairly large diner menu plus they serve breakfast. Stop here on your way through town and grab a bite to eat! Evidently there is fried chicken on Sundays and they have a large side room for a good size crowd.

First off, excellent food/portions/price! I took a couple of stars off for the service. Friendly when ordering/served, and never checked on again (only 3 others dining). When paying, I wasn’t asked how it was, or thanked for stopping in, nothing but a cash exchange with the waitress. Not even a “have a good day”. Odd.

Small diner feel. Breakfast was good. Don’t get their buffet. You are better off ordering food off the menu. On a scale of one to ten, it is a 5. The food is okay. Not like the good places in Houston.

I tip my hat off to Mom’s kitchen’s new cook Bryan. He really takes pride on the food he prepares. I had the best bacon cheeseburger and an order of onion rings, the meat and bacon on my burger were cooked to a perfection and my onion rings golden crispy just the way I like them. Keep up the good work Bryan. I will absolutely come back.

We ordered catfish fillet, hash browns salad was great ,fish way way over cooked hash browns cold ,best part was salad .bill had chicken fried steak ,French fries his whole meal very cold ,then try to get someone to come to the table .so after ten minutes ,no one we get to come we got up to leave ,told them .they said oh that’s not good, here is your check .35.00.so there you go !!!! It sucked the big one ! ! They got one star for the salad

What a wonderful place! We had breakfast here while in town. The food was hot and delicious, the coffee was excellent, the service was fast, and “Mom” is a delightful lady! She took good care of us. We didn’t want for anything while we were there. I highly recommend!

Don’t be fooled by the funky, hand lettered, “Mom’s Café” sign on the highway, this place is really enjoyable. It is a very nice roadside café that is family run by some very nice people. The décor is kind of retro/cute and clean. The food is very good and the pies and sweet rolls are great. Very enjoyable.
