I’ve been going here for a long time, never once disappointed. As a local restaurant owner a few doors down, I always look for ways to improve my own business. Without knowing it, they have taught me a thing or 2. Staff is always great, atmosphere is always great. Totally recommend this place, unless you want pizza, then come see us but for real, if you come here and don’t leave having a better day, you probably fell out of bed last night and it’s Noone fault but your own

I stopped in to grab lunch to go. Small town cafe, ice cream shop. Very friendly and prompt service. I ordered a Philly cheese steak, (which is very tasty, the bread is fresh and soft) and a side of fries, and it came with some coleslaw which is absolutely delicious, fresh and crunchy. They offer really good selection of food. Hand pressed burgers with just about any thing you’d like on top, Vollwerths hotdogs, also with just about anything you’d like on top, gyros, brats. They even serve an all day breakfast from biscuits and gravy to a build your own omelet or breakfast burrito. My order was made and came out very quick, I will definitely visit here a lot more. They offer wide selection of hand dipped ice cream or some soft serve with a variety of toppings. They even have a food allergy chart next to the door, so those with certain allergies are able to enjoy the delicious meals and treats Daisy Jo’s has to offer.

Stopped in on our way home from dinner. Cute shop! The kitchen closes and hour before closing but it was okay we just wanted ice cream. They have a nice variety of flavors including some with Mackinac Island fudge and some sorbets. The prices were great and we will definetly be back.

I had a gyro, my boyfriend had a Philly cheese steak. Fries and banana shake. Everything was wonderful. Fresh and fast. Very reasonable prices too. Serving cedar crest ice cream and soft serve. Cute place, definitely will be back.

Seems like a lovely and popular place. I was with my young boys and promised ice cream. We arrived and needed to wash our hands before eating and let the staff know so they knew we were going to eat inside because I needed to keep my boys under control. We came back and asked to eat at the booth for maximum control and were told to wait while they cleaned off the booth. Immediately after that two women came in and sat at the dirty booth right in front of us and the employee I had been talking with. Instead of handling the situation we were told we could sit at the table with chairs in the middle of the restaurant. During all of this the employee kept walking away from us which made it difficult to to communicate and took much longer than it should have. I found the employee to be scatterbrained, unfriendly and ultimately knew this was not a good place for us to be with children. We left hungry and with a broken promise of ice cream.

Happy that Gwinn finally has a decent restaurant. Food is outstanding, but when you get pick up, they have a tendency to forget stuff (order of fries, cheese for cheese fries…yada yada yada), so double check your order before leaving. They’re a tad pricey, BUT…it’s cheaper than driving all the way to Marquette.
