Had Idly, Samosa, Masala Dosa yestereday. Surprise. Dishes were very tasty and better than many South Indian restaurants in Bay Area. Though not comparable to places in South India, considering quality of ingredients in USA, well done Chef. Keep it up. Will come again.

The taste of the food is nothing close to what a good South Indian food tastes like. The taste of food is very subjective, so feel free to try it out yourself. I would say the frozen food from any Indian store tastes better. But if you are not looking for a great taste and just need a quick bite, may be its good for that. Located on the sidewalk in the downtown, it has some limited seating options. The lemon iced tea was such a joke. Good for vegetarians. The owner is nice, chatty guy though but the food could do better.

Can’t say how the food tastes like coz, Samosa’s were spoiled/ rotten. Glad that we realized it in the first bite and dumped. I was so excited to see indian snack while walking on the streets but the excitement turned out disastrous. You need to be careful.

Terrible food… I’m usually not one to leave reviews but the food wasn’t nearly as good as the reviews say they are. The pictures advertise something else and we get something else.

Please do not fall for reviews… Based on reviews, I wanted to give it a try. But sorry I have never been this disappointed with food ever. Samber tasted like yellow water with veggies. And it was expensive.

Delicious! Had the dosa, which came with sambar and coconut chutney, and a mango lassi. It was made fresh on the spot so the dosa was a beautiful texture – lightly crispy with a delicious potato masala inside. Sambar and chutney were also tasty. Service was great – quick and very friendly. Will definitely come again soon!

Amazing little place right in the middle of DT Santa Cruz next to the bookshop. Run by 2 super friendly people with cheerful smiles! So lovely.

Food tastes ok. I got the $12 meal. Good bread, not naan. Tea is ok but needs more spice. Samoa is good. Have not tried the dosa yet. Customer service excellent!! He gives you more if you need and shared a dessert with me. Give it a try!

Sunni was very kind (on my birthday, too!) and made me special fried little balls of sweetness for dessert. Yummy! I had lentils, my friend and I both had dosas, she had samosas, and I have had the lassi before–also good–but this time I had the chai. His chai is not the really sweet kind Americans are used to in Starbucks, but the type Indians actually drink. So if you order expecting it to be like Starbucks, you will be disappointed. It is chai. Chai means tea. He’s a chatty, amiable man, and we enjoyed the afternoon by taking in the homey, delicious food this kind and sweet man offers up.
