This place is phenomenal. Don’t let one persons 1 star deter you (some people just can’t be pleased). It’s clean, the staff is friendly, they are family owned and operated, they make everything fresh in house from their baked goods to the BBQ. It’s my favorite place to visit for my weekly coffee and breakfast. On weekends I stock up on sides and meat from the Dickie Dos meat market they run on Saturdays so I don’t have to cook much during the week. You won’t regret stopping by and giving them a try!

I am not from the south where BBQ is King, I live in New Jersey but I have had BBQ down south many times as well as in Kansas City and Texas. And I absolutely love this spot. I’ts my new favorite BBQ anywhere! I tried multiple items on the menu from chicken to ribs etc. and enjoyed it all. The employees were as great as the food.

I visited this restaurant for lunch today. I had a barbecue plate with a barbecue sandwich, the ranch potatoes and mac and cheese for my sides. The meal was very good although I didn’t think the potatoes had enough Ranch taste. The wait staff was very friendly and after a little bit of introduction on service animal knowledge, I was able to be seated and enjoy my meal. The shop was clean and wide enough for us to move around comfortably even though it was a little bit on the small side, seating no more than 7 or 8 tables. If you enjoy barbecue, this would be a good place to stop.

My family enjoyed our first visit to Dickie Do’s. I chose the 4 meat platter so I could sample the different offerings they had. The only meat I did not choose was the rib tips which is their 5th meat offering.

I live in Florida and came to visit family that lives in the area. Having BBQ while visiting NC is a must, so we came in for lunch and it did not disappoint! We basically tried all of the meats, and they were all delicious! The fruit cobbler was pretty good too! I will come back whenever I’m visiting

Dickie-Dos BBQ, Haw River, best ribs I have ever eaten in a restaurant. BBQ pulled pork also great. Good hushpuppies and cornbread. THURSDAY is $1.00 rib day, what a deal. I went back and got 5 more.

Perfect dinner on the patio! Tender, flavorful pulled pork and a delicious homemade barbecue sauce. Cornbread was a hit, and all the sides we had were excellent. Look forward to coming back.

It’s been a while since I’ve been here. The bbq is as good as I remember. I’ve been all over and eaten bbq from a lot of places, but this is one of my favorites in all of NC. The service is friendlier than I remember, although, it was never horrible.
