This review is specifically of their “Afternoon Tea” experience. I want to mention given the advertisement on their site of this being a “British tea time” experience that I am actually an English man.

Don’t waste your time or money. Everything advertised online was the exact opposite of what we got. We never received the champagne or petit fours, we only got one type of tea sandwich (which was disgusting and nothing like what tea sandwiches are supposed to be), we received tea bags instead of loose leaf tea, and the scones they provide are not scones (I don’t know what they are, but they are nothing like traditional tea scones and were disgusting). Other people received seconds, but we never were and we barely saw the server. At the end, she told us the tip she expected, which was an outrageous amount and unprofessional. We later complained about everything and how we did not get what we paid for. We were promised petit fours in the mail to make up for it (we never received those), and we were refused a full refund for everything that happened. The whole company has been very unprofessional whenever we have talked with them.

Had high tea at the mansion. Good tea. Best scones with the various toppings. The little sandwiches are good, I liked the smoked salmon.

The food was horrible i think they must have baked/ cooked them or purchased them days and days before i just couldn’t believe how something tasted so horrible it was so old looking, the jelly on the desserts was hard and old the sandwiches were brown im not exaggerating i paid almost 300 for me my husband and my 1 year old they didnt want to give us a house tour said they weren’t offering them at the moment so you pay all that money for 30 min of tea and nasty food ugh it was just awful i wish no one would go here its just such a rip off can’t believe people do this to others after 30 min the lady starts cleaning up like for us to leave there are no changing stations so she asked if i could change her on the floor. Still after all that money you spend she ask you to leave a 22% tip its just bad the food was the worst part it was awful. Some bites i took were sour tasted as it was bad looked nothing the websites everything was hard i think we might of had leftovers from days before. Wish i could get my money back

A Very beautiful place to go and see. Love the architecture and landscaping as well. Beautiful fountain in the front lawn, and gazebo was beautiful as well. It was a cold day, but I really enjoyed taking the pictures..

Really cool experience. Afternoon tea and treats. Was awesome. And I was full when I left. Which I was not expecting. From the little scones and sandwiches. Beautiful home.

I went for tea and lunch. I didn’t book the tour so unclear on the actual name. It was nice though. Wish I could’ve stayed for the tour. Maybe next time. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable

Absolutely gorgeous home! The Christmas decor was perfect, the staff was welcoming and the history of the home was very interesting. We are already planning a visit during the spring.

When we reserved our spot, there were no vegan options. I was the only vegan in the bunch, so i just planned on not eating. But the chef went out of her way to feed me and it was amazing. The rest of my party raved about their food and the tea was wonderful. The Mansion was beautiful and our server, gracious, kind, and helpful. If you like tea rooms, I thoroughly recommend the Royal Gorge Mansion.
