The Dragon Cafe is a local, family-owned business. We prepare a large menu of the Mandarin-style food, with a Cantonese touch adjusted by our local customers preferred flavors. We have happily served the community of Novato since the early 1990s and like to take care of our local customers. We support many local organizations and schools, as our children have all gone to school, and grown up in the town of Novato. Here at the Dragon Cafe our logo is, Eat healthy, be happy!

Ordering was done and food was prepared quickly with large portions! I had kung pao chicken, it was very tasty and the vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly. If you like it spicy there are ways to get it, just communicate.

This is fantastic, healthy, and delicious Mandarin food. The chef is also the owner, they live in the neighborhood, and regulars seem to drop in regularly. Tonight was my fourth visit. Husband and wife seem to pour their whole life into the place, and it shows. The vegetables are crisp, fresh tasting, the beef is juicy, the chicken tender. Even the soy sauce is a little better, the fortune cookies are crisp and fresh. If I lived closer to Novato, I’d go often. Now when I stop to see the puppies at Marin Humane, I stop by Dragon Cafe for lunch or dinner.
