Had an Airbnb nearby for the weekend and decided to give it a shot. First night we tried to make a reservation only to find out they were fully booked, so we made one for the second night. We drove by and saw how busy it got and assumed the taste would be worth the wait. Boy was that a joke. They clearly have one chef and maybe 2 servers at best on the weekend. They try to sell it as an authentic Italian experience, but having only one chef and making people wait HOURS to eat is just a cheap business strategy to boost profit and stroke their ego all at once. The food was average at best and gave one of our guests food poisoning. We read reviews the night before and knew to order right away, but it still took about 1.5 hrs to get our food. Even though we asked for the check when they finally brought the food out, it still took the waitress another 45 minutes to bring it to us. It’s ridiculous they can stay in business running like this, but considering how little they have to work, can’t say I’m surprised. The only positive thing I can say about this place is that they had decent portion sizes. So if you don’t mind making reservations days in advance and eating 2 hours after said reservation, avoid this place at all costs. – Author with 25+ trips to actual restaurants in Italy

Nice little place, had the lasagne, Mrs had spaghetti. The food was ok, but if you have ever had Italian outside of Fulton or Rockport you will know the dishes aren’t very authentic. Having said that, the staff were very good and the place was clean and tidy. Nice lady who runs it was very hospitable.

We have found that good Italian restaurants are hard to find, and this is a VERY VERY good one. What a joy! I had high expectations and was thrilled with our experience. I do not recall ever having received such good wait-staff service this millennium (yes, I’m that old). The staff here was absolutely wonderful and made our visit very memorable. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. Very diverse menu options, excellent food, exceptional service. You get what you pay for, and it is well worth it imo. I look forward to going back repeatedly.

Excellent service and food! My husband and I went in for dinner having never been before and our servers were very knowledgeable about the menu and were able to answer all of our questions and make wonderful suggestions. Each of their dishes is made to order so make sure you have time to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere in their restaurant. We will most definitely be back. Thank you so much!

Everything is made from scratch to order so don’t go if you are in a hurry. Traditional Italian meals worth the wait. Have some wine and bread and talk to your loved ones. Very good chicken parm. Huge portion. The dipping sauce/oil and garlic for the bread is off the hook. Best Italian food in town.

Romantic atmosphere. The food was delicious. My husband had the Chicken Marsala, and i had the Lasagna. The service was great. Even though we didn’t have a reservation and it was 30 min to closing, they still seated us and gave us excellent service plus a free appetizer since we waited, which wasn’t a long wait at all. We will definitely be back. Recommend making a reservation so there is no wait time.

One of my top 3 Italian meals ever! What a gem in Rockport/Fulton. Just like a quaint Italian eatery in NY. Small, cozy, excellent service, and authentic Italian entrees. We ordered a bottle of wine, the Special with clams & mussels in a wine reduction, and the Penne Alla Marinara. Topped it off with the best cappuccino I’ve had in a while, and Tiramisu prepared in a bowl. Different presentation, but great for sharing. We will become regulars. Thanks to the staff for well-orchestrated service.

We came here 15 minutes before the closing time, but the staffs were still very friendly and patient. I felt like the wait was quite long, but the food came out really good. I have to say that their sauce is one of my favorites

Walked in and staff passed us by without acknowledging us for about two minutes. Super cramped (restaurant is small) wasn’t busy. Asked what appeared to be the manager for a table for four. Manager and wait staff ignored us then another family walked in behind us. Asked if we were supposed to make reservations (not being sarcastic and was genuinely asking as we were waiting for about 3 minutes now), ignored again. Waited for about 3 more minutes while wait staff continued to disregard us. Left to go to elsewhere. Garbage disposal service, go somewhere else.

Food disappointing. Had to ask for bread and oil for the table and a bruschetta appetizer choice . This is a red sauce – (Palermo) style place so I didn’t expect haute cuisine but my capellini con aglio had so much black pepper and garlic I couldn’t finish it. The waiter brought my granddaughter “grated Parmesan” (usually offered routinely upon serving pasta), we had to request and it tasted like styrofoam not parmigiana-reggiano. Terrible. Inedible. Three of us ordered each ordered a cannolo Siciliano and the “ricotta” ran out on the plates. The pastry was soggy and stale. $300 for six persons, which would have been fine if the food was good. It wasn’t. Friendly staff and nice furnishings and atmosphere.
