So I guess I’m a bit behind. For lunch today a friend took me to Smokin Joe’s when he found out I had never been. I had driven by the restaurant several times and always said I would stop someday. After today’s visit I’ll be back soon. Smokin Joe’s is smaller than the other Joe’s that is here in Olathe but the food has a great smokey taste that I love. Today I had sausage and brisket and enjoyed them both. I haven’t decided about the sauce yet it was a touch sweeter than i normally eat, but it was still quite good. Customer was awesome and the lady that assisted us happens to be pictured behind the counter.

I used Uber eats to get an order delivered to a semi truck. I don’t know how uber review works but it was directed at the driver and not Smokin Joe’s, anyway I called an spoke with Janus about my order missing something and she got the missing item to me. I appreciate very much that she fixed it and went way above an beyond to get the item to me. If I have to come back to town again for another delivery I’ll use uber to bring me and dine in. The food was delicious, loved the pulled pork and the coleslaw was amazing.

We had an awesome visit on our road trip from Connecticut to California. Our server was incredibly helpful and made sure we tried all the best eats. We had ribs that fell off the bone, smoked chicken that was juicy and flavorful, beans, corn nuggets and fried mushrooms. We’d recommend it to anyone!

Ordered from Uber eats and it was a mess! Those are supposed to be burnt ends but they were drenched in bbq sauce. The meat tasted odd. The Mac N Cheese doesn’t seem to be homemade. Really soggy macaroni. I wasn’t able to eat any of it.

Smokin’ Joe’s BBQ: Ham, pork and turkey were good. The sausage was great. The beef had a good flavor was just a bit dry. As for the sides, the beans were phenomenal. The potato salad was delicious. The mac & cheese was just mac & cheese. The corn on the cob was water logged. The spicy sauce was was very good.
