The Plaza Café and Diner is a charming family run establishment with a friendly atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious, attractively presented food. The decor is relaxing, and the restaurant pristine. My husband and I have eaten here twice since they reopened under the new ownership/management, once us alone for a late lunch, and once as part of a group of six for an early dinner. Both times we were well taken care of. The menu is standard diner fare with a few interesting additions, and with the wide variety of options, there is truly something for everyone. The location is excellent, very easy to get to, and located within several walkable blocks of shops and businesses, across the street from the train station. If you are in the Morris Plains area, or traveling through, I highly recommend the Plaza Cafe and Diner! Enjoy, and be blessed!

Lovely place! Our first time since the new owners took over 4 months ago. We had an afternoon 2:00 breakfast! II had great chocolate chip pancakes, egg and bacon house special! My husband enjoyed his cheese omelette with potatoes and toast. The coffee is delicious and the service was excellent! So glad they are open till 8pm so we can’t wait to pop in for a hamburger. They are a lovely family with dad as the cook, mom and daughter manage it. Great job guys! Glad to see a new opening of a small family business after Covid. We highly recommend them!

I had cesar salad with broiled shrimp. The shrimp were absolutely delishes! The best I ever had. Service was excellent. We were a group of about 10 and we needed separate checks. She did all of this graciously.
