Unfortunately there aren’t many Luby’s left in town. But the one on 410 & Fredericksburg Rd get it done right!! LuAnn platter is my go to option, smaller size entree, 2 sides & a roll for like $8.99!! Best liver & onions I’ve ever had!! Pic shows bacon cheese steak & fried fish – both excellent!!

I need my FULL REFUND. This is unacceptable. I ordered around 4pm today and this little guy was swimming in my soup. The service was bad after repeating myself to the lady at the counter that I wasn’t helped after she skipped me and my little one as she decided to ignore me while I am telling her using my inside voice that we weren’t helped she goes and take 2 orders. I don’t know if placing a bug in my soup was a revenge for her but there’s no way I would of kept silent about the bug being there. This was our dinner and it was ruined. Then I wasn’t given a receipt to know what her name is plus, she wasn’t wearing a Name Tag. I NEED A FULL REFUND. Then, we Dine In. there’s a female by the name of Gabriel who works there just literally saw me struggling to carry 2 trays and a gallon of water with a little person with me, Gabriel didn’t even care to ask do you need help. But she gets upset because I REFUSE to tip after she asked if I needed Cash Back for Tip. I took 2 trips to the table because lack of help but had the audacity to ask for Tips. It was our first time Dining In. Then, after experiencing this type of service I decided to Take Out Orders. The first Take Out Order went well but the second one which is today didn’t go well for us.

Went and ordered chicken fried steak,drove home sat down to eat and found a piece of plastic in it! Notice it says poultry. Chicken fried steak doesn’t have chicken in it. Talk about cross contamination!

My grandmother took us to Luby’s as children over 50 years ago. To this day the food has always been a comfort of home. Just good home cooking with something for everyone. You will find everything from salads, seafood, beef, chicken, fresh vegetables, and delectable dessert like key lime pie. The service is always friendly and welcoming. It’s a very casual cafeteria style setup. Simply pick and choose what you’re craving. Great for the whole family. If someone needs assistance there is always someone to help whether they are handicap, children or seniors. I still enjoy every visit.

Sister and I went for lunch. Food was excellent and flavorful. Liver and onion still good as 40 years ago. Surprise to see all the food and secret option available. Store of Fredericksburg Rd. Needs a little remodeling. Staff was friendly and everyone seem to be service orientation.
