Stopped in for breakfast. Good atmosphere smiles all around. Good music. Had the Red White and Blue Freedom Breakfast. Really tasty! Punky(Connie) was there greeting and helping out. I managed to snap a photo of her in action! Definitely coming back.

There’s a reason why Punky’s is always rated top diner in Medford. The food is ample and tasty. I had the chicken fried steak skillet. What a unique and tasty combo. Overall this is the cleanest diner. The food does not disappoint. The staff is friendly and attentive. Worth a try for great comfort food.

Everything was amazing but the meals me and my wife got where disappointing. The gravy just didn’t agree with our stomachs. That is the only negative we have. The waitress was amazing and the restaurant was very clean and super busy!

There are a bunch of places that say home cooked goodness in their name or advertising. My parents were both amazing cooks so for me “home cooked” has a much higher standard than most restaurants can achieve. Punky’s Diner is in that rare class of home cooked flavor in everything I had. I honestly don’t know if I could have made a burger that tasted better and the Marion Berry Pie took me right back to my Grandma’s kitchen. It goes without saying, I highly recommend this breakfast and lunch Cafe.

I came to Punkys while I waited for my mother to get out of her Oral surgery appointment. We drove 1 1/2 hours at 6:00 am so when I came in I was HANGRY and dining alone (23 year old female) so it being a Wednesday morning it was filled with cute older couples making me feel like I was in a comfortable and safe environment. My waitress was so nice referring to me as sweetheart and when bringing me my food says “alright I’ve got some goodies for you!” Which was uplifting because I was half asleep and very ready to eat.
